Lenovo launches the first dual-screen notebook computer

Setting it apart from the others in the field of laptop’s competitive market, Lenovo Group, has released the ThinkPad W700ds - the first ever dual screen notebook computer – in the market.

It was a proud moment for the world’s No 4 personal computer manufacturer, Lenovo when it unveiled this dual-screen device at the recently held Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas. Although there were several other laptops showcased by the company, this notebook computer featuring a 17-inch LCD screen along with a 10.6-inch screen which slides out to the right from behind caught glimpse of all present at the occasion.

Although overall PC demand has gone down due to the current global economic slowdown, but notebooks have shown strength. ThinkPad W700ds from Lenovo comes with 8GB of DDR3 memory and a pair of hard drive/solid-state drive bays for up to 960GB of storage.
